Learning outcomes

  • Identify which clauses move compensation, mobility, or personal liability.
  • Translate market narratives into concrete counter-proposal language.
  • Build a counsel-ready brief that respects German employment practice.
  • Recognize when a side letter is stronger than rewriting the master agreement.

Informational price: €2,450 for the Full Assessment path. See pricing for adjacent tiers.

Modules

Module 1 — Document room & heat map

Upload the draft, map sections, and score leverage using our annotation template. Live kickoff clarifies industry context and acceptance deadlines.

Module 2 — Pay, bonus & deferral

Walk through fixed pay, targets, clawbacks, and holding periods. We separate “illustrative” schedules from binding plan rules.

Module 3 — Mobility, IP & loyalty restraints

Cover secondment, IP assignment, confidentiality, and non-compete radius. Limitation: we do not draft court pleadings or replace Rechtsanwalt advice.

Module 4 — Exit mechanics & negotiation brief

Notice, garden leave, severance patterns, and change-of-control. You leave with a one-page brief plus talking points for HR or counsel.

Participant notes

Module 2 alone paid for the tuition — our “target bonus” was discretionary in a way the recruiter never mentioned.

Thorough, occasionally dense. I wanted more templates for English-language contracts used by US parents; we adapted on the fly.

FAQ

Is this legal advice?

No. Apisoftwarenet provides educational consultation and document literacy. For binding legal opinions or litigation strategy you should engage a licensed attorney in Germany.

How long does the program take?

Most Full Assessment cohorts finish in about 18 days, depending on how quickly documents arrive and how many counter-offer rounds appear.

What is a real limitation of the program?

We do not negotiate directly with your employer, and we cannot guarantee a specific salary outcome. Our work improves clarity and preparation; counterparties still decide.

Can my counsel join sessions?

Yes. Counsel or a board sponsor may join selected calls. The Board Briefing tier is designed when multiple guests need a shared reading.
